Avec près de 2000 chercheurs, ingénieurs et techniciens, le centre INRAE Occitanie-Toulouse, ouvert sur l’innovation, est un lieu d’activités scientifiques pluridisciplinaires, biologie, biotechnologies, agronomie, sciences végétales, animales, gestion de la santé, sciences économiques, sociales et de l’information.
Les équipes organisent leurs activités de recherche en réponse à trois grands enjeux :
• des systèmes agricoles et forestiers plus durables et adaptés aux évolutions climatiques.
• une gestion intégrée de la santé (animale et humaine), pour une alimentation saine et dans le respect de l’environnement.
• de nouvelles filières de transformation des agro-ressources pour l’émergence d’une bioéconomie territorialisée.

Centre INRAE Occitanie-Toulouse | INRAE
Avec près de 1 200 chercheurs, ingénieures, techniciens INRAE et 325 doctorantes et doctorants le centre Occitanie-Toulouse représente plus de 11 % des publications scientifiques de l’Institut. Il est l’un des 18 centres de recherche régionaux de l’institut. 13 des 14 départements scientifiques INRAE sont représentés. Implanté sur 10 sites en région, à Toulouse, INRAE est le deuxième organisme national de recherche après le CNRS.
