Altaroad est une start-up innovante française fondée en 2017 par trois profils complémentaires (Télécom ParisTech/HEC, X/ Ponts et chaussées, UC Riverside), spin off de l'École Polytechnique, de l’université Gustave Eiffel (ex Laboratoire Central des Ponts et Chaussées) et du CNRS.
ALTAROAD fournit une plateforme de suivi des flux poids lourds sur chantiers et sites industriels, afin de :
- réduire les coûts de transport,
- améliorer la sécurité et tracer l’impact carbone,
- assurer la conformité réglementaire,
- permettre la traçabilité de bout en bout des matériaux et déchets transportés.
La solution combine caméras et système de pesée mobile. Ces données disponibles en temps réel sur notre application facile d’utilisation permettent de garder le contrôle des flux en toute simplicité. Enfin la plateforme permet de dématérialiser les BSD et est intégrée avec TrackDechet.

Altaroad is a French innovative start-up founded in 2017 by three complementary profiles (Telecom Paris/HEC and Ecole Polytechnique/ Ponts et chaussées and UC Riverside), leveraging a sensor technology for infrastructure developed by a joint research team focused on the development of sustainable cities at Ecole Polytechnique, CNRS, and Université Gustave Eiffel (ex LCPC -Road and bridges research center).
We develop an industrial IoT platform for the construction industry to optimize transport and logistics of waste and materials. Our solution generates traffic data to track the licence plate, weight of vehicles, time of departure from site, etc. The precise and data is then made available via our standard APIs in real time to its final users, from the owner of the site, to the construction team, to evacuation managers, logisticians, truck drivers...
The objective is to ensure that waste are better tracked so that they can be recycled, that the transportation happens in compliance with local regulations, and that transports are optimized to reduce their overall cost and carbon footprint.
