Lietuvos bankas is the central bank of the Republic of Lithuania. Its main task is to maintain monetary and financial stability in Lithuania. Lietuvos bankas is part of the Eurosystem and, together with the European Central Bank and the central banks of other euro area countries, participates in the establishment and implementation of the euro area’s monetary policy.
