    The University of Valencia is a leader at the international level:
    -It ranks second in Europe in receiving Erasmus students.
    -It is one of the top ten universities in the world to learn Chinese language and culture, according to the Chinese government.

    The UV, in numbers
    The UV has the most students in Valencia: 46,000 in Diplomaturas (3-year degrees), Licenciaturas (5-year degrees), engineering and undergraduate degrees, 7,500 in official Master’s degrees and PhD degrees and 5,000 in UV degree programmes.
    The UV is the most international university in Valencia: 2,000 students from other universities all over the world and more than 1,300 UV students in international mobility programmes.
    The UV offers the largest range of studies in Valencia:

    The UV provides more work placements/internships in businesses and institutions in Valencia: 6,500 students participate through agreements with over 2,400 businesses and institutions.

    A UVocupació, antic Observatori d'Inserció Professional i Assessorament Laboral (Opal), treballem per a la comunitat universitària des de l'any 2003.¿Nuestro objetivo?: Facilitar la inserción profesional de los/las estudiantes y titulados /as de la Universitat de València.Desde su inicio, el OPAL ha orientado y acompañado en su proceso de inserción a más de 17.000 usuarios/as y ha gestionado más de 28.000 convocatorias y ofertas de empleo, siendo más de 2.300 las empresas asociadas a nuestro portal de empleo gratuito.En el OPAL elaboramos informes de empleabilidad de las titulaciones de grado y postgrado de la Universitat de València e impartimos acciones formativas que contribuyen a incrementar las competencias para la inserción y el desarrollo profesional de nuestros usuarios/as.Toda nuestra actividad se lleva a cabo por personal técnico especializado que comparte valores de mejora continua, creatividad e innovación, implicación y compromiso, trabajo en equipo y fundamentalmente orientación al usuario.
