Since 1966 IFAT started its history as the world's leading trade fair for environmental technologies in Munich, Germany.

Today there are more than 8 IFATs around the world and a total of 11 leading events in the portfolio adding up to a worldwide representation with visitors from more than 155 different countries and exhibitors from more than 59 nationalities, making IFAT the largest environmental technology network in the world.

In 2024 IFAT expands its portfolio and creates a landmark to leverage the environmental technologies market in Latin America, IFAT Brazil.

With the most complete thematic sectorization (Water and Sewage Management, Drainage and Sanitation Infrastructure, Waste Management, and Energy Recovery Solutions), IFAT Brazil is a tool to connect the main actors of the sector to our most important resource: The Future.
