A Bordeaux Deeptech startup founded in 2016, Vegetal Signals uses artificial intelligence and its agronomic expertise to extract electrical signals produced by the plant, useful information for winegrowers such as water status, pre-symptomatic detection of mildew or monitoring of berry maturity, transmitted in real time via a mobile application.
Based on the electrophysiology of the plant, our technology, the result of 5 years of R&D, allows us to continuously monitor their biological activity in order to assess their needs and state of health. Our goal is to reduce crop water consumption, optimize nutrient inputs and significantly reduce the use of phytosanitary products. We also contribute to the adaptation of agriculture to climate change, in particular by participating in the detection of plant varieties that are more tolerant to extreme climatic conditions.

Startup Deeptech bordelaise, fondée en 2016, Vegetal Signals utilise l’intelligence artificielle et son expertise agronomique pour extraire des signaux électriques produits par la plante, des informations utiles aux viticulteurs telles que le statut hydrique, la détection pré symptomatique du Mildiou ou le suivi de la maturité des baies, transmises en temps réel via une application mobile.
Basée sur l'électrophysiologie de la plante, notre technologie, fruit de 5 ans de R&D permet de suivre en continu leur activité biologique afin d’évaluer leurs besoins et leur état de santé. Notre objectif est de réduire la consommation d’eau des cultures, d’optimiser les apports nutritifs et de réduire fortement le recours aux produits phytosanitaires. Nous contribuons également à l’adaptation de l’agriculture au changement climatique, notamment en participant à la détection de variétés végétales plus tolérantes aux conditions climatiques extrêmes.
