contribute to improving governance through the increased use of digital tools;
help adapt the administration and other relevant entities to this new form of exchange.

Le Ministère de l'Efficacité du Service Public et de la Transformation Numérique définit et coordonne la mise en œuvre de la politique de l'Etat dans les domaines des postes et de l'économie numérique. Il traite des questions relatives au développement et à la promotion des activités postales. Il coordonne, supervise et réglemente les activités du secteur postal et s’assure de son développement harmonieux et optimal, sur toute l’étendue du territoire national. Il gère les activités de l’Etat relatives au développement de l'économie numérique. Il œuvre à ce titre à la promotion et à la diffusion des technologies de l’information et de la communication (TIC) en vue de l’émergence du secteur de l’économie numérique.
A ce titre, il est chargé de la conception et de la mise en œuvre d’une stratégie nationale afin de :
coordonner l'élaboration des textes réglementaires relatifs au secteur de l’économie numérique ;
poursuivre le déploiement et la généralisation de l’accès haut-débit Internet, du développement de l’offre de contenus numériques sur tout le territoire ;
permettre progressivement à tous les citoyens, quel que soit leur lieu de vie, d’accéder aux outils, services et contenus numériques ;
mettre en œuvre des initiatives pertinentes afin que dans tous les domaines d’activité socioprofessionnels les TIC deviennent un facteur de croissance et d’efficacité accrue ;
contribuer au développement des compétences dans le secteur ;
contribuer à la mise en place des instruments juridiques pour garantir le respect de la vie privée et la protection des personnes face à la multiplication des données numériques personnelles ;
contribuer à améliorer la gouvernance par l’utilisation accrue des outils numériques;
contribuer à adapter l’administration et les autres entités pertinentes à cette nouvelle forme d’échanges.
Depuis 2010, Cina LAWSON occupe les fonctions de Ministre de l'Efficacité du Service Public et de la Transformation Numérique.
