Stichting Thuisbokt is a social meal service at home, for and by neighbors. Through personal matchmaking and consistent guidance, Stichting Thuis -cooked meal seekers with vulnerability brings in contact with voluntary home cooks who make a tailor -made meal.
Stichting Thuis Bookt sees various (health) challenges in Dutch society and increasing in severity. Loneliness, health arrears, aging and increasing pressure on the care network ensure the need to look more at each other. 450,000 people in the Netherlands do not have access to healthy meals and/or meaningful social contact.
By facilitating encounters between neighbors and making healthy, affordable and fresh food accessible to everyone, the Thuis -cooked Foundation tries to create a cohabiting society, in which people feel connected to and lean on their immediate environment. Stichting Thuis Bookt contributes to the basic needs (healthy) food and (meaningful) social contact when the own network is not sufficient.

Stichting Thuisgekookt ziet verschillende (gezondheids)uitdagingen in de Nederlandse samenleving ontstaan en in ernst toenemen. Eenzaamheid, gezondheidsachterstanden, vergrijzing en een toenemende druk op het zorgnetwerk zorgen voor de noodzaak om meer naar elkaar om te kijken. 450.000 mensen in Nederland hebben geen toegang tot gezonde maaltijden en/of betekenisvol sociaal contact.
Door ontmoetingen tussen buurtgenoten te faciliteren en gezond, betaalbaar en vers eten voor iedereen toegankelijk te maken probeert Stichting Thuisgekookt een samenredzame samenleving te creeëren, waarin mensen zich verbonden voelen met en kunnen leunen op hun directe omgeving. Stichting Thuisgekookt draagt bij aan de basisbehoeften (gezonde) voeding en (betekenisvol) sociaal contact wanneer het eigen netwerk niet toereikend is.
We bieden een snel en effectief instrument om gezondheidsachterstanden van verschillende kwetsbare groepen te verkleinen. Een warme maaltijd die gemaakt en verspreid wordt door een vrijwillige thuiskok stimuleert contact op buurtniveau en bevordert de gemeenschapszin.
