Hemeris develops and operates cold plasma technologies for the industrial decontamination of seeds, helping leading seed producers and agri-food companies meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Our proprietary process uses non-thermal plasma to eliminate major bacterial and fungal pathogens commonly found on crops such as carrots, beans, peas, and lettuce including Pseudomonas savastanoi, Xanthomonas axonopodis, Pseudomonas syringae, Alternaria dauci and Xanthomonas hortorum. Unlike conventional chemical methods, our approach is dry, residue-free, and preserves germination rates, ensuring both productivity and sustainability.
Originally inspired by medical sterilization technologies, Hemeris adapts cutting-edge research to the needs of the agriculture and seed treatment industry, bridging deep tech and field-level application.
