Nature Robots aims to support regenerative and ecological agriculture through AI and robotics in harmony with nature and humans.
Nature Robots develops autonomous robots for regenerative agriculture. Based on the specially designed and built long-term autonomous monitoring robot Lero, high-resolution three-dimensional plant maps of vegetables and other plant crops, as well as weeds, are created and migrated into a monitoring user interface for agronomists, farmers, and plant breeders. The AI and robotics systems allow for use in natural and arbitrary-structured environments, such as vegetable production, orcharding, and viticulture, as well as in agroforestry, forestry, photovoltaic, and agrophotovoltaic environments. Customer benefits range from the reduction of workload to an enhanced productivity of the agricultural system.
Nature Robots is a spin-off of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and was founded in January 2022 in Osnabrück.
