The Artificial Imagery and Vision Laboratory (IMVIA) comes from the Electronic, IT and Image laboratory (LE2I), research laboratory under the supervision of the University of Burgundy from 1996 to 2018, Paristech arts and trades between 2014 and 2017 and CNRS from 2001 to 2017.

Le laboratoire Imagerie et Vision Artificielle (ImViA) émane du Laboratoire Electronique, Informatique et Image (Le2i), laboratoire de recherche sous tutelle de l’Université de Bourgogne de 1996 à 2018, des Arts et Métiers ParisTech entre 2014 et 2017 et du CNRS de 2001 à 2017.
Le laboratoire ImViA, composé d’une cinquantaine d’enseignants-chercheurs, a pour thématique la Vision Artificielle. Il est organisé autour de trois équipes : CORES, IFTIM et VIBOT.
