ADBioplastics is a startup dedicated to the development and commercial exploitation of custom-made additives and bioplastics, a sustainable alternative to traditional plastic, based on highly polluting fossil fuels, to promote the circular economy.

Our products are bio-based from the origin, as they are produced from corn, sugar cane and sugar beet, and compostable. The material disintegrates 100% in three months in an industrial composting process. This is a process that will help to meet the EU Plastics Reduction Strategy 2030, as well as contributing to making the world a better place to live, our motto.

With our additive "ADBio PLA+" and bioplastic "PLA-Premium", we improve the properties of virgin PLA, such as:

- Higher OTR/WVTR barrier
- Improved thermal stability and mechanical properties
- Processability

All this meets the requirements of the following sectors: packaging (food & beverages and cosmetics), textile, construction & buildings, 3D printing, medicine and agriculture.
