Assemblée jumelle du Conseil régional, le CESER Pays de la Loire représente la société civile organisée depuis 1973
Le Conseil Économique, Social et Environnemental (CESER) Pays de la Loire est l’assemblée consultative de la Région représentant la société civile organisée.
Véritable “laboratoire d’idées”, il est composé de 120 conseillers issus d’organisations professionnelles, de syndicats, d’organismes et d’associations qui concourent à la vie économique, sociale, environnementale de la région.
Lieu d’échanges et de dialogue, le CESER publie des avis, contributions et rapports destinés à éclairer la décision des décideurs publics régionaux.
Il est obligatoirement saisi pour donner son avis, avant leur examen et leur délibération par le Conseil régional, sur les documents relatifs aux sujets suivants :
✅ le budget de la Région (orientations, budget, budgets supplémentaires, compte administratif),
✅ la planification stratégique régionale (schémas directeurs, plans stratégiques, contrats État-Région, etc.),
✅ les orientations générales dans les domaines sur lesquels le Conseil régional est appelé à délibérer.
Il peut également être saisi par la Présidente du Conseil régional sur toute question à caractère économique, social, culturel et environnemental d’intérêt régional, ou par l’État.
Enfin, il conduit de sa propre initiative des études prospectives ou liées à l’actualité sur toute question à caractère économique, social, culturel et environnemental d’intérêt régional et interrégional.
