    Established in 2014, MY World Mexico is an initiative of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Action Campaign that aims to mobilize and actively involve people and organizations from all sectors in favor of the implementation, monitoring, financing, follow-up, dissemination and evaluation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the SDGs in Mexico. The initiative is supported by Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), academia, the private sector, the public sector, social movements and interested volunteers.

    To date, MY World Mexico has impacted just over two million people throughout Mexico thanks to nearly 10,000 volunteer actions. We have worked with more than 3,000 volunteers from all over the country, as well as strengthened the institutional alignment towards sustainability of nearly 100 organizations from all sectors. We have represented Mexico in nearly 150 United Nations advocacy processes related to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the SDGs, as well as spaces facilitated by the Federal Government of Mexico, local governments and other leading sectors on the subject.

    MY World Mexico has an impact that has positioned it as one of the most recognized platforms for the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the SDGs at the international, national and local levels. Through annual programs and mobilizations, MY World Mexico empowers people and organizations to lead actions and processes in favor of sustainable development in the country and the world.

    Inspiramos, conectamos y movilizamos acciones por la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible y los ODS en México.

    Establecida en 2014, MY World México es una iniciativa de la Campaña de Acción para los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS) de las Naciones Unidas que tiene como objetivo la movilización e involucramiento activo de personas y organizaciones de todos los sectores a favor de la implementación, monitoreo, financiamiento, seguimiento, socialización y evaluación de la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible y los ODS en México. La iniciativa se acompaña por Organizaciones de la Sociedad Civil (OSC), la academia, el sector privado, el sector público, movimientos sociales y personas voluntarias interesadas.

    A la fecha MY World México ha impactado en poco más de dos millones de personas en todo México gracias a cerca de 10,000 acciones de voluntariado. Hemos trabajado con más de 3,000 voluntarios/as de todo el país, así como fortalecido la alineación institucional hacia la sostenibilidad de cerca de 100 organizaciones de todos los sectores. Hemos representado a México en cerca de 150 procesos de incidencia de las Naciones Unidas relacionados con la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible y los ODS, así como espacios facilitados por el Gobierno Federal de México, gobiernos locales y otros sectores líderes en el tema.

    MY World México tiene un impacto que la ha posicionado como una de las plataformas de la Agenda 2030 para el Desarrollo Sostenible y los ODS más reconocidas a nivel internacional, nacional y local. A través de programas y movilizaciones anuales, MY World México empodera a personas y organizaciones para liderar acciones y procesos a favor del desarrollo sostenible en el país y el mundo.
