Mayotte Nature Environnement (MNE) est une fédération d’associations environnementales créée en 2011.
Elle regroupe des associations environnementales réparties sur le territoire mahorais. Elle comptabilisait en 2023 un total de 24 associations adhérentes, réparties toute autour de l’île de Mayotte. Elle représente un réseau de plus de 1 500 adhérents engagés dans la protection de l’environnement. MNE possède différents agréments (Association de protection de l'environnement, Service civique, Jeunesse et éducation populaire et Intérêt général). Elle est affiliée à France Nature Environnement, fédération française des associations de protection de la nature et de l’environnement.
Le projet stratégique de MNE repose sur trois piliers fondateurs, à savoir :
- l'éducation à l'environnement ;
- la production des connaissances ;
- et la réparation de l'environnement ;
en lien transversal avec ses associations membres sur divers thèmes : les déchets, l’assainissement, l’érosion des sols, la déforestation, les aménagements, les diverses pollutions, les pratiques agricoles et l’adaptation aux changements climatiques.
Entre 2015 et 2022, la fédération Mayotte Nature Environnement a porté le Réseau Éducation à l’Environnement et au Développement Durable (R EEDD976).
