    The Centre for direct scientific communication (CCSD) is a public service for the researchers’communities and their institutional environment (research organizations, universities). The CCSD is supervised by the CNRS, Inria and INRAE. Its main mission is to provide tools, in the respect of open access principles, for archiving and the dissemination of scientific publications and data.

    The CCSD has created, develops and manages the HAL open archive (hal.archvies-ouvertes.fr), on which relies the Plan national pour la science ouverte, for open access to scientific publications.
    The CCSD also develops two other platforms:
    * Episciences (www.episciences.org) for hosting epi-journals, and
    Scienceconf (www.sciencesconf.org), a conference management platform.

    The CCSD workforce consists mainly of developpers and scientific and technical information experts (support and training courses).

    About the infrastructure:
    * 30 hypervisors hosting over 100 virtual machines, and about 30 standalone servers,
    * Configuration management SaltStack,
    * Monitoring Nagios/Checkmk,
    * PHP language, IDE Phpstorm,
    * Framework Send, Symfony, Bootstrap,
    * Other tools: Solr, Elastic Search, Kibana

    La Science partagée

    Le Centre pour la Communication Scientifique Directe (CCSD) est un service public dédié à la communauté de l'enseignement supérieur et de la recherche. Placé sous la tutelle du CNRS, d'Inria et d'INRAE, sa mission principale est de fournir des outils pour l'archivage, la diffusion et la valorisation des publications et des données scientifiques.

    Il développe et maintient l'archive ouverte HAL (hal.science), sur laquelle s'appuie le Plan national pour la science ouverte pour l'ouverture des publications.
    Le CCSD développe et propose aussi deux autres plateformes :
    * Episciences (episciences.org) pour l'hébergement de revues, et
    * Sciencesconf (sciencesconf.org) pour les organisateurs de congrès.

    L'équipe regroupe principalement des développeurs informatiques et des professionnels de l'information scientifique et technique (support et formation).
