Founded in 1998 as both a digital design studio and an interactive production company, over the years Upian has become increasingly focused on the creation and redesign of media sites (newspapers, radio, television), and digital communication tools for institutions and brands that wish to communicate with the general public about important social issues.
For the last 10 years, Upian has also been an internationally recognized documentary film production company. It was actively involved in pioneering the web documentary both in France and at the international level.
Upian is a proud member of PNX, the association of independent new media producers devoted to the digitization of the French cultural and creative industries.

Créé en 1998, à la fois studio de création digitale et société de production interactive, Upian s'est spécialisée au fil des ans dans la création et la refonte de sites média (journaux, radio, télévision) mais aussi de dispositifs de communication digitaux pour les institutions et les marques qui souhaitent communiquer auprès du grand public sur les sujets à fort impact social.
Depuis 15 ans, Upian est aussi une société de production de documentaires internationalement reconnue. Pionnière, elle a participé activement à l’émergence du webdocumentaire en France et à l’international.
Upian est membre de PXN, l'association des producteurs nouveaux médias indépendants qui œuvrent à la mutation numérique des industries culturelles et créatives françaises.
