Since 1981 the EFB has been the benchmark for lawyer training in France.

L’École de Formation professionnelle des Barreaux du ressort de la cour d'appel de Paris (Auxerre, Essonne, Fontainebleau, Meaux, Melun, Paris, Seine-Saint-Denis, Sens et Val-de-Marne) est le plus important des onze centres régionaux de la formation professionnelle des avocats (CRFPA).
