For more than 35 years, new solidarities for housing has created and rents integration accommodation accessible to the most precarious households, for which no stable housing solution exists.
Composed of six departmental associations, a federation, the solidarity land cooperative prologues, an endowment fund and a foundation sheltered by the Abbé Pierre Foundation, the SNL movement draws its strength in a unique, innovative and solid model , based on citizen engagement.
His activity is based on four pillars:

Ensemble, agissons pour le logement
Depuis plus de 35 ans, Solidarités Nouvelles pour le Logement crée et loue des logements d’insertion accessibles aux ménages les plus précaires, pour lesquels aucune solution de logement stable n’existe.
Composée de six associations départementales, d'une fédération, de la coopérative foncière solidaire Prologues, d’un fonds de dotation et d’une fondation abritée par la Fondation Abbé Pierre, le Mouvement SNL puise sa force dans un modèle unique, innovant et solide, fondé sur l’engagement citoyen.
Son activité repose sur quatre piliers :
- Créer des logements d’insertion par le biais de la construction neuve, le bail à réhabilitation, l’achat-rénovation ou la mise à disposition par des particuliers ;
- Louer ces logements, dans le diffus ou en pensions de famille, à des personnes en difficulté « le temps qu’il faut » pour qu’elles retrouvent une stabilité ;
- Accompagner chacun de ces ménages en tissant du lien social, jusqu’à l’accès à un logement pérenne
- Témoigner pour mobiliser autour de notre action et interpeller les instances politiques et les acteurs publics et privés.
