DigiBC is pleased to announce plans to pilot a new, sector-wide mentoring network for the creative technology community! We aim to launch this program, DigiConnect, in May 2025 and we are actively seeking volunteer mentors.
🚀 If you are an industry professional in BC with 4+ years of experience in VFX, animation, video games or XR, we encourage you to participate as a mentor in the program.
🎓 DigiConnect is an exciting addition to DigiBC’s Work Placement Pilot Program. Mentee eligibility is currently restricted to students in work placements; however, DigiBC aims to expand the program in future years to offer mentorship to junior and mid-level professionals.
💡DigiConnect will facilitate opportunities to build meaningful relationships, fostering professional connections that can lead to career opportunities and collaborations across the sector in an organic fashion. Building a strong professional network in the industry through mentorship is key to making BC a global leader in creative tech.
