Created in 2014 and supported by Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, CATIE (Centre Aquitain des Technologies de l'Information et Électroniques) is a center for technologic transfer specialized in digital technologies. With a mission to provide support for Nouvelle-Aquitaine's companies in the process of adopting and integrating digital technologies, it completes regional initiatives by focusing on the transfer needs.
CATIE has a multidisciplinary approach and focuses on SME's needs through three fields of action : human factors and cognition, information technology (including Big Data and Artificial Intelligence) and digital systems (electronical, software and industrial dimensions).
CATIE's missions are achieved through research and transfer programs, but also through the implementation of technological plateforms. There are currently three of them : 6TRON to support companies in the development of IoT solutions, HUBCHAIN to reach a better understanding of the blockchain technology and SNASA to spread knowledge on numerical simulation.

Créé en 2014 et soutenu par la région Nouvelle Aquitaine, le CATIE (Centre Aquitain des Technologies de l’Information et Électroniques) est un CRT spécialisé dans les technologies du numérique dont la mission est d’accompagner les entreprises néo-aquitaines dans l’adoption et l’intégration des technologies du Numérique. Il complète ainsi les dispositifs régionaux de soutien aux entreprises en se focalisant sur les besoins en transfert technologique.
Le CATIE a une approche pluridisciplinaire et prend fortement en compte les besoins des PMEs et ETIs, notamment grâce aux trois grands domaines de son action : les facteurs humains et la « cognitique », l’informatique et en particulier le « bigdata » et l’intelligence artificielle, et les systèmes numériques dans leurs dimensions électronique et logiciel embarqué mais aussi industrielle.
Il remplit ses missions par sa participation à des programmes de recherche, de transfert, mais aussi par la mise en œuvre de plateformes technologiques. À ce jour, elles sont au nombre de trois : 6TRON pour l’accompagnement dans le développement de solutions pour l’internet des objets, HUBCHAIN pour la maitrise de la technologie Blockchain et SNASA pour la diffusion de la simulation numérique.
