La Fondation Abbé Pierre est une association à but non lucratif reconnue d’utilité publique depuis 1992. Elle a été fondée par l’abbé Pierre et a pour objectif de lutter contre le mal-logement, la pauvreté et l’exclusion. C’est un mouvement laïc et militant.
La Fondation a notamment créé un réseau de Boutiques Solidarité et de Pensions de famille, respectivement structures d’accueil inconditionnel pour les personnes en difficulté et lieux de vie pour es personnes sortant de la grande exclusion.
Outre ses actions dédiées à l’accès et au maintien dans le logement, elle finance chaque année 500 associations qui luttent à ses côtés contre le mal-logement.
