Retency has developed a unique technology that provides an RGPD-approved alternative to user consent.
- Retency delivers the only SAAS software able to privately associate separate personal databases without user consent with a processing efficiency (>100M lines) adapted to the requirement of professional users.
- Unique embedded de-identification technology allows to perform cross-analyses of databases held by separate parties, while guaranteeing perfect database protection and total personal data privacy, as a GDPR-compliant alternative to user consent.
- Process is data-agnostic. Differentially Private output can be processed by any time of AI and data analytics tool.
Retency proprietary Differential Privacy and Private Set Intersection technology was certified by the Privacy Regulator as compliant to the deep anonymization criteria set forth by the G29 group of European privacy regulators.
Adaptation of Retency Private Engine as a SAAS solution available in the Cloud was initiated in 2020. Previously, Retency has been operating this technology since 2017, focusing on two initial applications: consent-less audience measurement for retail and outdoor advertising, and drive-to-store advertising efficiency measurement.
Founded in 2015, Retency is established in Paris, France. Retency counts a team of 15 people, mostly highly qualified scientists and engineers. Since inception, Retency has been selling its private, consent-free data processing services to leading public advertising, retail, mall and fast-food players, as well as large consumer brands in Europe. Retency share capital is primarily held by the founders and by Truffle Capital, a French venture capital firm.
