    The training, the third pole of activity of the room, offers photographers - beginners or experienced - workshops, workshops, courses and internships addressing the question of image and photographic medium. By dealing with various aspects of photography, from theory to technique through the history of the image, the participants acquire a foundation of knowledge allowing them to deepen their practice or to develop a personal project. Training for professional photographers are also developed during the 2016-2017 season.

    Espace d'exposition et de formation à l'image

    Installée au coeur de Strasbourg depuis 2010, La Chambre, espace d’exposition et de formation à l’image accompagne les évolutions du medium photographique et s’intéresse à ses interactions avec les autres champs artistiques. Par le biais de six expositions annuelles dans son espace, ainsi que de nombreuses expositions hors les murs, La Chambre promeut des artistes français et étrangers, émergents ou confirmés. Grâce au soutien apporté à des projets personnalisés (production d’oeuvres, diffusion, accueil en résidence, commandes...), La Chambre participe à un accompagnement de la création artistique contemporaine.
    Les actions de médiation mises en oeuvre par le service des publics de La Chambre associent technique photographique et découverte du monde de l’image. Ces interventions, à destination de différents publics (scolaires, personnes en situation de handicap ou en insertion, séniors, etc.) sont conçues dans un souci d’originalité, d’interactivité et de pédagogie. La Chambre propose et réalise des projets spécifiques, jouant un rôle de « passeur » entre les publics et les artistes (à découvrir sur www.la-chambre.org).
    La formation, troisième pôle d’activité de La Chambre, propose à des photographes - débutants ou expérimentés - des ateliers, workshops, cours et stages abordant la question de l’image et du médium photographique. En traitant divers aspects de la photographie, de la théorie à la technique en passant par l’histoire de l’image, les participants acquièrent un socle de connaissances leur permettant d’approfondir leur pratique ou de développer un projet personnel. Des formations à destination des photographes professionnels sont également développées durant la saison 2016-2017.
