La Gare du Nord, cœur vivant de Paris, ruche du Grand Paris et hub du nord de l’Europe, va se transformer. Ce projet de métamorphose de la plus grande gare d’Europe, ambitieux et fédérateur, vise à offrir aux usagers une gare toujours plus belle, plus confortable et plus connectée.
Afin de traduire cette dynamique et les objectifs portés par la SEMOP Gare du Nord, le projet se dote d’un nouveau nom et d’une nouvelle identité : StatioNord.
Les ambitions partagées pour ce projet sont alors réaffirmées à cette occasion :
o Faire de la Gare du Nord une gare de référence. Elle sera plus vivante, plus connectée et plus ouverte. Elle promeut l’intermodalité de demain en valorisant notamment les mobilités actives douces. Elle répondra aux exigences de développement durable et offrira des nouveaux espaces paysagers inédits et accessibles à tous.
o Faire entrer la ville dans la Gare du Nord. Véritable pôle de vie, la gare offrira des activités culturelles, des infrastructures sportives, de nouveaux espaces de travailet des loisirs accessibles à tous, riverains, voyageurs, parisiens, touristes.
o La Gare du Nord, un lieu emblématique : l’architecture historique de la Gare du Nord sera sublimée pour que ce monument reprenne sa place parmi les lieux aimés de Paris.
La SEMOP, Société d'Économie Mixte à Opération Unique, est une société de projet dédiée à la rénovation de la Gare du Nord. Cette SEMOP est détenue à 66% par Ceetrus et 34% par SNCF Gares & Connexions.
