The Energy Storage System Association, BVES, represents the interests of companies from the storage and associated industries. The key focus of the BVES works is on energy storage in the areas of hydrogen, electricity, heat and mobility. Energy storage is a key technology for security of supply and the flexibility of the energy system.

We convey our members’ messages into the political decision-making process. We coordinate the joint research and development. BVES works on norms and standards to ensure that safety standards are developed and applied in the EU and global market.
