SpainCap es la asociación que agrupa a las entidades de Venture Capital & Private Equity en España, así como a sus inversores, incluyendo aseguradoras y fondos de pensiones. Los miembros de SpainCap invierten a medio y largo plazo en compañías no cotizadas, desde start ups a empresas consolidadas, aportando no solo financiación estable a través de capital, sino también innovación y apoyo en la gestión.
La misión de la patronal es conectar a todos los actores de la industria en España, representando sus intereses ante la Administración, medios de comunicación y opinión pública, tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, a través de alianzas y sinergias en Europa y Latinoamérica.
Entre sus objetivos está establecer un marco regulatorio adecuado para el sector y comunicar el impacto positivo de su actividad sobre el tejido industrial y la creación de empleo que genera. Adscrita al Pacto Mundial de la ONU, una de las principales misiones de ASCRI es impulsar la sostenibilidad entre sus socios y en las empresas en las que invierten. También promover el desarrollo profesional a través de programas de formación e impulsar activamente el conocimiento a través de la publicación de informes estadísticos y estudios de impacto económico y social, que demuestran el valor añadido que aporta este sector.
