【Driving Digital Transformation】Cyberport & Construction Industry Council Co-organise Seminar to Promote ConTech Applications

Cyberport has been collaborating with the government to drive digital transformation, using innovative technologies to address pain points across various industries. Recently, it joined hands with Construction Industry Council to co-organise the "CIC x Cyberport InnoConstruct Talk" seminar. Drawing from our experiences collaborating with the Hong Kong Housing Society and Gammon Construction Limited, we assisted the construction industry in understanding the applications of innovation and technology (I&T) to enhance productivity, quality, sustainability, and safety standards in construction projects. Mr Ricky Choi, Cluster Lead, Smart Living of Cyberport, also engaged in discussions with industry professionals at the event.

Approximately 1,800 attendees registered online for the event, showing significant interest. Three Cyberport community members already based in the "Smart Space PropTech" (Alpha AI, Blue Sky Energy Technology, and Softhard.IO) participated in sharing session, showcasing cutting-edge solutions and technologies in smart buildings, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), and IoT applications, injecting a new impetus into the construction industry.

In the future, Cyberport will continue collaborating with various industries to facilitate the integration of new economic enterprises with traditional industry players, strengthening Hong Kong's role as an I&T international hub.

We are glad to be invited as one of guest speakers at AECOM innovation talk last week. Christina Tang, shared her background and how her college experience inspires her to become an entrepreneur in energy technology. Blue Sky makes use of IoT platform to function as an all-in-one building performance manager to capture energy consumption and optimise users behaviour pattern.

These conversations about climate change have always been challenging and complex but are essential to drive forward our commitment to a net-zero society and a blue sky. (no pun intended)
