ACAM advances collaboration to create community-wide solutions for thriving nonprofits, neighborhoods, and families. ACAM believes that by building an innovative, connected network of direct service, community-based organizations, we can ensure that every community member can find a path to stability, health, and wealth.
For families living in poverty or experiencing hardship, neighborhood-based assistance organizations can make the difference between a hungry belly and a stocked pantry, or between eviction and housing stability. ACAM builds partnerships with community service providers and cross-sector organizations to create community-wide solutions aimed at collective impact. ACAM conducts research, measures outcomes, and designs programs based on best practices. The ACAM Network is increasing collaboration, promoting organizational development, raising service standards, innovating programs, and making a greater impact on the lives of low-income families across the region as a more cohesive social service safety net.
