The 27th Region develops desirable futures for public action. It is a public transformation laboratory, set up as an independent association, which offers a multidisciplinary, reflective and experimental space. La 27e Région élabore des futurs souhaitables de l’action publique. C’est un laboratoire de transformation publique, constitué
en association indépendante, qui propose un espace pluridisciplinaire, réflexif et expérimental. Convaincus de l’importance de réintroduire de l’expérimentation et de l’essai-erreur dans l’action publique, nous testons avec des administrations de nouveaux services, outils, méthodes et modes d’organisation. Nous mobilisons des concepts inspirés du design, des sciences sociales et des mouvements alternatifs (do-it-yourself, culture du libre, éducation populaire). La 27e région s’appuie sur une communauté de praticiens et d’agents à travers toute la France, qui partagent et prolongent ses approches. À travers des projets et des événements, elle oeuvre à l’animation et au développement de cette communauté.
La 27e Région cherche à influencer les débats. Elle documente ses expériences concrètes, elle élabore des récits prospectifs, elle publie des articles et des ouvrages.
