Advancing Decarbonization at Roland Garros Airport
On February 26, our colleague Greta F. (Carbon Technical Lead | ACA Expert) was at Aéroport La Réunion Roland Garros for the Airport Platform Decarbonization Seminar - ACA Level 4+.
As part of our commitment to #sustainableaviation, she engaged with industry leaders to drive forward decarbonization efforts and discuss strategies for reducing the airport’s environmental impact.
We are grateful to partner with Roland Garros Airport on this journey towards sustainability. The transition to low-carbon aviation requires collaboration, innovation, and dedication, and we are excited to contribute to this important mission.
While in Île de la Réunion, Greta F. also experienced Cyclone Garance firsthand. Our thoughts are with everyone affected, and we fully support the community as it recovers from this event.

Recently, we had the chance to play 1000 Tonnes at ACI EUROPE’s offices.
With the game's creator and facilitator, Matthieu Breteault (Carbon Lead ENVISA), we explored its story and concept, emphasized the key role of the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA), and, of course, had some friendly competition! 🏅 We also want to thank Sharon Mahony (Associate ENVISA) for accompanying us ⭐️

ENVISA continue à accompagner les aéroports et les acteurs du secteur dans leur transition environnementale, en créant et proposant des workshops innovants et interactifs. ✈️💪
Sharon Mahony d'ENVISA a animé un atelier #ACA avec des aéroports et un large groupe de parties prenantes opérationnelles afin de renforcer les capacités de l'Office National Des Aéroports (ONDA) et de préparer le terrain pour une Coupe du monde 2030 durable.
Un public attentif et motivé a largement contribué au succès de l'événement, placé sous le thème « De la théorie à l'action ».
La journée s’est clôturée par un défi interactif autour des aéroports durables en Afrique, via un partenariat collaboratif en matière de durabilité (Collaborative Sustainability Partnership – CSP)
D'excellentes présentations ont été réalisées par des équipes compétentes, proposant des solutions innovantes et pragmatiques.

ENVISA continues to support airports and industry stakeholders in their environmental transition by creating and offering innovative and interactive workshops.
Sharon Mahony from Envisa led an Airport Carbon Accreditation (#ACA) workshop with airports and a broad group of operational stakeholders to strengthen Office National Des Aéroports' (ONDA) capabilities and lay the groundwork for a sustainable #2030WorldCup.
An engaged and motivated audience played a key role in the event's success, which was themed "From Theory to Action." The day concluded with an interactive challenge on sustainable airports in Africa, facilitated through a Collaborative Sustainability Partnership (CSP).
Outstanding presentations were delivered by skilled teams, showcasing innovative and pragmatic solutions.
A big thank you to Karima BENADRYA (Quality Director Office National Des Aéroports), for her commitment and valuable support, which gave us this great opportunity to contribute to the sustainable development of aviation and to enhance the visibility and recognition of the teams involved. And to Zahra Moutaib (Head of Certification Department Office National Des Aéroports), for her invaluable coordination with all stakeholders.
