Chicas en Tecnología is a non-profit organization that seeks to close the gender gap in technology, motivating, empowering and increasing the knowledge and enthusiasm of young women for these areas.
The main focus of our Programs is for participants to have an experience in a real professional ecology. That is, from the physical space and work methodologies to specialist guests, mentors and challenges. Participants experience what it is really like to immerse themselves in the technological entrepreneurial environment.
We provide tools for logical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, communication, design, teamwork and entrepreneurial strategies. With a focus on the use of technology as a source of solving real problems, participants are challenged and take ownership of the process of developing technological solutions in a practical way and close to the professional field.
We aim to achieve gender parity in the technological entrepreneurial environment. We believe that it is of utmost importance to ensure the economic prosperity of women, families and communities around the world. For this reason, the more young people who have experiences like the ones we propose at an early age, the more women will work in technology fields in the future.

Chicas en Tecnología es una organización sin fines de lucro que busca cerrar la brecha de género en tecnología, motivando, potenciando e incrementando el conocimiento y entusiasmo de jóvenes mujeres por éstas áreas.
El principal foco de nuestros Programas es que las participantes tengan una experiencia en una ecología profesional real. Es decir desde el espacio físico y las metodologías de trabajo hasta los invitados especialistas, mentores y desafíos. Las participantes vivencian lo que realmente es sumergirse en el ambiente emprendedor tecnológico.
Acercamos herramientas del pensamiento lógico, habilidades en resolución de problemas, creatividad, comunicación, diseño, trabajo en equipo y estrategias para emprender. Con un enfoque en el uso de la tecnología como fuente de resolución de problemas reales, las participantes son desafiadas y se apropian del proceso de desarrollo de soluciones tecnológicas de una manera práctica y cercana al campo profesional.
Nos proponemos alcanzar la paridad de género en el ambiente emprendedor tecnológico. Creemos que es de suma importancia para asegurar la prosperidad económica de mujeres, familias y las comunidades en todo el mundo. Por esta razón mientras más jóvenes tengan experiencias como las que proponemos en una temprana edad dará lugar a más mujeres que trabajen en campos de tecnología en un futuro.
