The #EUDRSummit2025 brought together over 1,000 professionals from across legal, compliance, sustainability, and procurement. Thank you to everyone who joined live, asked questions, and contributed to the conversation.

One of the most critical insights came during the session “The Hidden Costs of EUDR Gaps: The True Price of Getting It Wrong,” from Rob S., Head of Standards and Integrity, PEFC International, who advised:

"Resist the temptation to think that EUDR will go away because if it doesn't, you will not have the luxury of time, come set September, October to try and do this very quickly. I would say start now."

That sentiment echoed throughout every session: EUDR enforcement is coming, and the time to prepare is now.

✅ Regulators will be conducting deep-dive audits, with NGOs already monitoring corporate action—or inaction.
✅ Businesses should be prepared for a substantial increase in inspections under the EUDR compared to previous regulations such as the EUTR.
