In pochi anni l'ascesa della squadra verso la massima serie è stata a dir poco impressionante, frutto degli investimenti effettuati, delle scelte e delle partnership azzeccate, del talento dei nostri ragazzi e, non per ultime, della determinazione e della passione per questa disciplina. E il grande momento è arrivato, l'8 maggio 2018, la Emma Villas Siena conquista l'accesso diretto all'Olimpo del volley nazionale. La stagione 2018/2019 è stata per la Emma Villas Siena la prima stagione in SuperLega. Purtroppo, pagando l'inesperienza della categoria, Siena, dopo solo un anno nella massima serie, è retrocessa in A2. Nel 2019/2020 la Emma Villas Aubay Siena chiude il campionato, interrotto preventivamente, al primo posto della classifica.
