www.asianculturevulture.com is a new site (August 2013) dedicated to covering all forms of ‘entertainment’ produced by – but not exclusively for – Asian communities around the globe. With its distinct subject categories: art, books, film, music/dance, theatre, TV, it seeks to inform, educate and entertain anyone interested in these subjects or in particular productions or artists.
Quite simply, we want to be the best, the most comprehensive, insightful, informative, entertaining, engaging, funny, (when appropriate) website dedicated to arts from a South Asian perspective.
ACV is run by Sailesh Ram, the former editor of the UK’s best known Asian paper, Eastern Eye, 2009-2012.
This is also about showcasing the very best of South Asian culture and giving it the rightful platform it deserves, especially in the West. So many of you are already involved and want to get involved, or simply promote your work or others you believe in. Let’s help each other with that. Like us on FB, and follow us Twitter.
