What a fantastic effort from the team at Sintons LLP this week, who took part in a major clean-up on Barrack Road and Leazes Park as part of Keep Britain Tidy’s national campaign – the Great British Spring Clean.

Following the Carabao Cup celebrations at the weekend, the team did a brilliant job, collecting 35 bags of litter in under two hours. A big thank you to everyone involved for their time and effort in helping to keep our city clean.

Claire Atkins (Chartered FCIPD) is the Director of Operations at Sintons LLP, where she oversees the daily operations of the People Services, Training, Facilities and Client Experience teams. After 2 years at Grainger Plc, Claire was delighted to return to Sintons in 2024, where she had previously worked as Head of People Services. In her broader leadership role, Claire has the opportunity to shape and influence Sintons’ business strategy, supporting its continued growth and fostering a collaborative, people-centric approach.

With over 30 years’ HR experience, Claire is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). She is proud to be supporting North East Work & Talent and the North East HR&D Awards once again this year, celebrating the exceptional HR&D talent across the North East.

Our latest face to face branch event was an employment law update with a twist. We collaborated with Sintons LLP to deliver a session focused solely on data protection and the things you need to know to keep up to date.

A huge thank you to Keith Land, Catherine Hope, and Louise Weatherhead for an informative session and to Corina Dias MA Chartered MCIPD who helped coordinate the event and ensured our members had both a great learning experience and a wonderful breakfast.
