The Founder, Chief Instructor & Examiner is Master Andrew K H Rhee, VII Dan and eldest son of Pioneer, First Grand Master Rhee Ki Ha (FGMR) and personal assistant to General Choi Hong Hi, the Founder of this dynamic Martial Art.
The ITFA aims to uphold and promote the standard of Taekwon-Do throughout Australasia by observing the Tenets of the Art as laid down by the Founder, Genereal Choi Hong Hi. We aim to encourage the moral culture and physical education of all Taekwon-Do practitioners.
The ITFA has associate schools in Sydney, Central Coast, East Gippsland, Brisbane and Rockhampton. All ages are welcome from 5 years old and above.
Taekwon-Do directly translates as ‘Art of Hand and Foot’ and is a Korean Martial Art and form of Self Defense.
Taekwon-do has many benefits, both socially, mentally and physically including the following:
