    As a knowledge and network platform, the Circular Hub supports Switzerland's transformation towards a circular economy and accompanies Swiss companies and organizations on their way there.

    Our work focuses on supporting the construction industry in the transition away from a linear throwaway economy to a resource-saving circular economy. Because: the construction industry is responsible for almost 40 percent of greenhouse gases globally and for around 80 percent of waste in Switzerland and thus plays a central role in achieving a net-zero society.

    Unsere Arbeit fokussiert sich darauf, die Baubranche bei der Transition weg von einer linearen Wegwerfwirtschaft hin zu ressourcenschonenden Kreislaufwirtschaft zu unterstützen. Denn: das Bauwesen ist global für fast 40 Prozent der Treibhausgase und in der Schweiz für rund 80 Prozent des Abfalls verantwortlich und spielt somit eine zentrale Rolle bei der Erreichung einer Netto-Null Gesellschaft.

    Mit diesem Ziel informiert der Circular Hub Schweizer Unternehmen über das Potenzial der zirkulären Wirtschaft, inspiriert sie bei der Entwicklung neuer Geschäftsmodelle und vermittelt ihnen Kompetenzen für einen schonenden Ressourcenverbrauch. Damit aktiviert der Circular Hub das Potenzial Schweizer Unternehmen und bereitet sie auf die Umsetzung zirkulärer Strategien in ihrer Produkt- und Materialentwicklung sowie ihrem operativen Management vor.
