    Quantum computers offer enormous opportunities for economy, industry and research. In order to get them into the application faster and expand their own skills, the DLR quantum computing initiative integrates partners from industry and business, startups and research to develop quantum computers, enabling technologies, software and applications together. The BMWK made the necessary funds available to us for this.

    At two innovation centers in Hamburg and Ulm, we bundle infrastructures, know -how and resources and provide our industrial partners with workshops, laboratories and offices.

    We create the industrial basis and the economic environment for quantum computers from Germany: the ecosystem quantum computing.

    Quantencomputer bieten enorme Chancen für Wirtschaft, Industrie und Forschung. Um sie schneller in die Anwendung zu bringen und eigene Kompetenzen auszubauen, bindet die DLR Quantencomputing-Initiative Partner aus Industrie und Wirtschaft, Startups und Forschung ein, um gemeinsam Quantencomputer, Enabling-Technologien, Software und Anwendungen zu entwickeln. Dafür hat uns das BMWK die notwendigen Mittel zur Verfügung gestellt.

    An zwei Innovationszentren in Hamburg und Ulm bündeln wir Infrastrukturen, Knowhow und Ressourcen und stellen unseren Industriepartnern Werkstätten, Labore und Büros zur Verfügung.

    So erschaffen wir die industrielle Basis und das wirtschaftliche Umfeld für Quantencomputer aus Deutschland: das Ökosystem Quantencomputing.
