THE ESTATE
Marsannay-La-Côte is the first village north of Côte de Nuits located at the beginning of the Grands Crus Road in Burgundy. Château de Marsannay owns 40 Hectares of organic vineyards, including 28 of the best terroirs of the Marsannay appellation and some of the most famous plots of Côte de Nuits. The estate mainly produces red wines, including 3 exceptional Premiers Crus from Gevrey-Chambertin and Vosne-Romanée and 4 Grands Crus : Chambertin, Ruchottes-Chambertin, Echezeaux and Clos de Vougeot.
We also manage the Hospices de Dijon's vineyards, located in Marsannay, Gevrey-Chambertin, Aloxe-Corton, Beaune, Savigny-Lès-Beaune, Pommard and Puligny-Montrachet.
The newest generation of winemakers is involved in making the Marsannay appelation well-known throughout the world. 14 Climats should soon be classified as Premier CRU by the INAO (French organization charged with regulating French agricultural products with Protected Designations of Origin). Half of theses are farmed organicaly.

LE DOMAINE
Sur la route des Grands Crus, Marsannay-la-Côte est le premier village au nord de la Côte de Nuits. Le Château de Marsannay possède 40 hectares de vignes cultivées en bio, dont 28 sur les meilleurs terroirs de l’appellation Marsannay et des parcelles sur les plus fameux climats de la Côte de Nuits. Le domaine produit essentiellement des vins rouges dont 3 superbes climats en Premiers Crus de Gevrey-Chambertin et Vosne-Romanée et 4 Grands Crus : Chambertin, Ruchottes-Chambertin, Echezeaux et Clos de Vougeot.
Nous exploitons aussi les vignes des Hospices de Dijon sur les appellations Marsannay, Gevrey-Chambertin, Aloxe-Corton, Beaune, Savigny-Lès-Beaune, Pommard et Puligny-Montrachet.
Une génération de vignerons s’investit dans la reconnaissance des terroirs de l’appellation Marsannay. 14 climats devraient être prochainement classés Premier Cru par l’INAO et près de la moitié d’entre eux est en agriculture biologique.
