Entreprise audiovisuelle appartenant au groupe SSR SRG, la Radio Télévision Suisse (RTS), développe ses programmes de service public sur quatre chaînes de radio, deux chaînes TV et plusieurs plates-formes interactives.
Basée à Genève et à Lausanne, la RTS dispose d’un bureau dans chaque canton romand ainsi que des correspondants à Berne, Zurich, Lugano et dans les principales capitales à l’étranger.
Les programmes de la RTS sont destinés au public francophone suisse, principalement situé en Suisse romande (1,7 million d’habitants). Mais de nombreuses émissions de télévision de la RTS, à commencer par les journaux quotidiens, sont diffusées dans le monde entier grâce à TV5 Monde. Il en va de même pour l’ensemble des émissions radio et TV produites par la RTS, accessibles librement depuis ses sites web sur tous les territoires.
