It brings together a complete chain of innovation for water technology, from first idea, research & development, specialised laboratories, a water application centre, various demosites, launching customers to international applications with commercial companies. Binnen de watertechnologiesector liggen volop groeimogelijkheden voor Noord-Nederland. Er is al een groot aantal kenniswerkers op het gebied van water werkzaam in de Water Alliance regio. We streven naar een vervijfvoudiging van dat aantal in 10 jaar tijd.
De Water Alliance brengt duurzame economische ontwikkeling tot stand in watergerelateerde toepassingen met maatschappelijk rendement. Zij levert hiermee een bijdrage aan de versterking van de concurrentiepositie van het noordelijk bedrijfsleven. De focus ligt op innovatieve, duurzame processen in de waterbehandeling die wereldwijd toepasbaar zijn.
