    A Horizon 2020 project focussing on a zero emission transport system based on electric vehicles running on green energy.


    The GreenCharge projects aims to demonstrate how technological solutions and associated business models can be integrated and deployed to overcome barriers to wide-scale adoption of EVs. For this we integrate local Energy Smart Neighbourhoods in Barcelona, Bremen and Oslo with smart EV charging enabling seamless access, booking and planning. For example, sustainable energy that is locally generated by owners of an apartment building with solar panels is stored in second-life batteries than can charge EVs that are shared. GreenCharge is aH2020-funded project under the CIVITAS Initiative.
