    Founded in 1976, SOPHYSA is a French company pioneer in the development of adjustable neurosurgical valves, the most advanced type of valves for the treatment of Hydrocephalus.

    Indeed, they offer the possibility to neurosurgeons to adjust the operating pressure non-invasively depending on patient's clinical needs.

    Two adjustable valves are produced by SOPHYSA: the Sophy® Mini valve, which was the first adjustable valve in the world, launched in 1985, and the Polaris® valve, the first MRI-stable adjustable valve.

    In addition to a complete range of neurosurgical implants, SOPHYSA offers a continuous intracranial pressure measurement system required for patients with a trauma brain injury, hydrocephalus, and hematoma.

    Pressio® ICP monitoring system is a user-friendly monitor with its range of catheters for intracranial pressure and temperature measurements.

    Fondée en 1976, SOPHYSA est une société française pionnière dans le développement de valves neurochirurgicales ajustables, le type de valves le plus avancé pour le traitement de l'hydrocéphalie. En effet, elles offrent la possibilité aux neurochirurgiens d'ajuster la pression opératoire de manière non invasive en fonction des besoins cliniques du patient.

    Deux valves ajustables sont produites par Sophysa : la valve Sophy® Mini, qui a été la première valve ajustable au monde, lancée en 1985, et la valve Polaris®, la première valve ajustable stable à l'IRM.

    En plus d'une gamme complète d'implants neurochirurgicaux, SOPHYSA propose un système de mesure continue de la pression intracrânienne nécessaire aux patients souffrant d'un traumatisme crânien, d'hydrocéphalie et d'hématome.

    Le système de surveillance de la pression intracrânienne Pressio® est un moniteur convivial avec sa gamme de cathéters pour la mesure de la pression intracrânienne et de la température.
