Founded in 1912, the Vaubernier dairy is one of the few remaining independent cheese producers in France.
For more than 100 years, we have adhered to a traditional recipe using milk, ferments and just the right amount of salt to give our cheeses their distinctive character. Every care is taken throughout the ripening process : all our cheeses are hand-turned. Our expertise is handed down from generation to generation by our master cheesemakers, ensuring that we continue to offer our customers a generous and high-quality cheese.
Located in the heart of the verdant Mayenne countryside, Vaubernier contributes actively to the economic development of its local area. Every day, we collect our fresh milk from dairy farms within a 40 km radius around the cheese dairy. In Martigné, some 120 employees bring all their knowhow to bear, day in and day out, to make our butters, cheese and, most of all, our famous camembert BONS MAYENNAIS.
Well etablished on the French market, Bons Mayennais products have been exported around the world since 2012 and are now to be found in several European countries, as well as further afield in countries such as Australia, South Korea, North America and the French West Indies. The teams are always available to listen to your comments and suggestions on developing new products tailored specifically to your market.

UNE HISTOIRE DE FAMILLE
La fromagerie VAUBERNIER est implantée au cœur du bocage mayennais à Martigné-sur-Mayenne depuis 1912. Plusieurs familles s'y sont succédées pour fabriquer le fameux Camembert Bons Mayennais. Catherine est aujourd'hui la troisième génération de la famille Drezen à la tête de l'entreprise.
UN SAVOIR-FAIRE UNIQUE
Depuis plus d'un siècle, nous perpétuons la même recette traditionnelle lactique avec du lait, des ferments et juste ce qu'il faut de sel. Au cours de leur affinage, nous apportons le plus grand soin à tous nos fromages en les retournant à la main. Leur texture ferme au départ, devient crémeuse et leur goût frais et lacté s'affirme. C'est ce savoir-faire unique qui confère tout leur caractère à nos fromages.
UN TERROIR, DES FEMMES ET DES HOMMES
Nous participons activement au développement économique de notre terroir. Chaque jour, nous collectons notre lait frais dans un rayon de 40 km. À Martigné sur Mayenne, près de 130 salariés font appel à leur savoir-faire pour fabriquer nos beurres et nos fromages.
À L’INTERNATIONAL
Très présente sur le marché français, notre fromagerie exporte aussi à travers le monde ! Depuis 2012, vous pouvez trouver nos Bons Mayennais aux Etats-Unis, dans les Pays Scandinaves, en Pologne, en Australie et dans bien d'autres destinations encore.
