Kitosphere développe des matériaux à base d'un biopolymère naturel : le chitosane. Ce composé est extrait des déchets de coquillages et transformé en matériau chélatant pour l'élimination des métaux lourds dans l'eau.
🥇 Nos solutions permettent d'éliminer les métaux divalents dissous (cuivre, plomb, nickel, zinc, cobalt, cadmium...) à de faibles concentrations, là où les autres techniques de filtration atteignent leurs limites. Nos produits sont également antibactériens et antifongiques et limitent le développement des bactéries et des champignons.
💊 Biocompatible, il peut également être utilisé pour l'encapsulation de molécules d'intérêt (provitamines, biostimulants, biofertilisants...).

Kitosphere develops materials based on a natural biopolymer : chitosan. This compound is extracted from shellfish wastes and transformed into a chelating material for the removal of heavy metals from water.
🥇 Our solutions allow the removal of dissolved divalent metals (copper, lead, nickel, zinc, cobalt, cadmium...) in low concentrations, where other filtration techniques reach their limits. Our products are also antibacterial and antifungal and limit the development of bacteria and fungi.
💊 Biocompatible, it could also be used for the encapsulation of molecules of interest (provitamins, biostimulants, biofertilizers...)
