Cluster members collaborate on research, development, and innovation of products, promotion of the field, presentations, and project implementation both in the Czech Republic and worldwide.

CREA Hydro&Energy, z.s. collaborates with major Czech and multinational companies, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and know-how in the field, and contributes to its development and transfer within international cooperation. The cluster is also very active in professional education and technological foresight, especially through participation in projects such as PoVE Water and partnerships like Water4All.

CREA Hydro&Energy, z.s. is a member of the National Cluster Association, Czech Dam Committee, Association for Water in the Landscape of the Czech Republic, Center for Vocational Education - Water in the Landscape, and Entrepreneurs' Platform for International Development Cooperation, and actively contributes to the activities of the clean technology platform and sustainable technology groups. Its members include international associations such as ICOLD (International Commission on Large Dams), ESHA (European Small Hydropower Association), and others. CREA Hydro&Energy, z.s. is also a member of the European cluster partnership NATUREEF and euWater4i-SD.

In 2015, CREA Hydro&Energy, z.s. received the European Cluster Excellence Initiative Gold Label certification. The Gold Label, awarded to the cluster, represents recognition of its level of professionalism, quality of management, and success of its activities. It is the first Gold Label awarded in the Czech Republic and Eastern Europe. Currently, the cluster maintains its evaluation at the bronze level.
