The MATEX program focuses on the behavior of multi-materials in extreme conditions – a necessary step for use in harsh environments.
This original and ambitious program capitalizes on:
• the specificity of academic skills in the field in the Region,
• access to an instrumental park, as well as to high-level scientific and technical expertise,
• the new horizontal measure of the Regional Innovation Strategy: "Promoting the industrial transition through the implementation of a multi-material approach".
The MATEX program is funded by the Centre Val de Loire Region
Coordinated by the CNRS, the MATEX program brings together five research organizations and numerous laboratories, as well as non-academic partners (the S2E2 and Elastopôle competitiveness clusters, the CRESITT and CETIM Centre-Val de Loire and Orléans-Val de Loire Technopôle technology resource centers, etc.).

Le programme MATEX se concentre sur le comportement des multi-matériaux en conditions extrêmes – un passage obligé pour un usage en environnement sévère.
Ce programme original et ambitieux capitalise sur :
• la spécificité des compétences académiques dans le domaine en Région,
• l'accès à un parc instrumental, ainsi qu'à une expertise scientifique et technique de haut niveau,
• la nouvelle Mesure horizontale de la Stratégie Régionale de l’Innovation : « Favoriser la transition industrielle grâce à la mise en œuvre d’une approche multi-matériaux ».
Le programme MATEX est financé par la Région Centre Val de Loire
Coordonné par le CNRS, le programme MATEX associe cinq organismes de recherche et de nombreux laboratoires, ainsi que des partenaires non académiques (les pôles de compétitivité S2E2 et Elastopôle, les Centres de ressources technologiques CRESITT et CETIM Centre-Val de Loire et Orléans-Val de Loire Technopôle...).
