The ECO Committee Association carries a support approach to the ecological transition, which is based on the link and the valuation of all local actors who are engaged in initiatives improving the local living environment: inhabitants, associations, shops and businesses.
Our observation: the territory of Plaine Commune presents all the assets to succeed in the bet of a transition which benefits everyone. Only the positive initiatives that embody it are often isolated, not very visible and insufficiently impactful, for lack of a collective dynamic that allows them to make a system.
To materialize this dynamic and anchor it in everyday life, we are carrying out a field approach that starts from everyday gestures and existing solidarities to add a new sustainable economy.
This approach is based on an innovative tool: the Eco card. Both physical card and digital application, it connects the inhabitant with all virtuous local opportunities, values commitment and is the support for payment in an additional local currency: ECO.

Pour réconcilier économie et écologie et amplifier l'engagement local
L’association Comité ECO porte une démarche d’accompagnement à la transition écologique, qui repose sur la mise en lien et la valorisation de tous les acteurs locaux qui s’engagent dans des initiatives améliorant le cadre de vie local : habitants, associations, commerces et entreprises.
Notre constat : le territoire de Plaine Commune présente tous les atouts pour réussir le pari d’une transition qui bénéficie à tous. Seulement les initiatives positives qui l’incarnent sont souvent isolées, peu visibles et insuffisamment impactantes, faute d’une dynamique collective qui leur permette de faire système.
Pour concrétiser cette dynamique et l’ancrer dans le quotidien, nous menons une démarche de terrain qui part des gestes du quotidien et des solidarités existantes pour retisser des filières incarnant une nouvelle économie durable.
Cette démarche s’appuie sur un outil innovant : la Carte ECO. À la fois carte physique et application numérique, elle connecte l’habitant avec l’ensemble des opportunités locales vertueuses, valorise l’engagement et est le support de paiement dans une monnaie locale complémentaire : l’ECO.
