How Startin'blox is born ?
Startin'blox was born out of Happy Dev, a network of self-employed digital workers. Happy Dev brings together a dozen or so local, autonomous collectives that work together. This growing network needed tools to develop. It was unthinkable to use a centralized platform that would govern the relations between freelancers and clients and cause a loss of autonomy.
Thus, Sylvain Le Bon, followed by Alexandre Bourlier wanted each collective to have its own tool that would allow them to work together. Startin'blox was born. The idea was to decentralize so that each small "agency" could choose its own rules, without losing the link with the rest of the network.
Soon enough, this fable of the interoperable platform charmed "readers": €320,000 of investment from the nearby community made the adventure possible.
Startin'blox therefore no longer only provides Happy Dev, but all the organizations that have chosen to give power back to the users.
With strong links to the Virtual Assembly, the Solid project and HappyDev, Startin'blox wants to precipitate the advent of a newweb.

Comment a été créé Startin’blox?
Startin’blox est né d'Happy Dev, un réseau de travailleurs indépendants dans le numérique. Happy dev rassemble une dizaine de collectifs locaux, autonomes, qui travaillent ensemble. Ce réseau, prenant de l’ampleur, a nécessité des outils pour se développer. Il était impensable d’utiliser une plateforme centralisée qui allait régir les relations entre indépendants et clients et causer une perte d’autonomie.
Ainsi, Sylvain Le Bon, suivi par Alexandre Bourlier ont voulu que chaque collectif ait son outil qui permette de travailler entre eux. Startin’blox voit le jour. L’idée était de décentraliser pour que chaque petite “agence” puisse choisir ses règles, sans perdre le lien avec le reste du réseau.
Assez vite, cette “fable” de la plateforme interopérable a charmé des “lecteurs”: 320 000€ d’investissements de la communauté proche ont rendu l’aventure possible.
Startin’blox ne fournit donc plus seulement Happy Dev, mais toutes les organisations qui ont choisi de redonner le pouvoir aux utilisateurs.
En lien très fort avec l’ Assembléevirtuelle, le projetSolid et HappyDev, Startin’blox veut précipiter l’avènement d’un nouveauweb.
